Gummy Mob: Color Crowd Run (Android, package com.digcy.gummymob) is a colourful candy crowd-runner game made by DIGCY for players of all ages, including children. This page explains what data the game uses, who receives it and the choices you have.
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-in, no chat and no server of our own. We never see your game data.
- Your progress is saved only on your device.
- The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Players under 13 only get child-directed, non-personalised ads.
- Optional purchases are handled by Google Play. We never receive payment details.
- No location, camera, microphone, contacts or file access.
What stays on your device
Your level, coins, gems, skins, upgrades, Gummy Pass progress, settings and your birth year are saved only on your device, in the game's local storage. They are never sent to us. Uninstalling the app deletes them, and so does Settings → Delete my data in the game (see how to delete your data).
The age question
The first time you open the game it asks "What year were you born?". No year is pre-selected, and nothing hints at a right answer. The year stays on your device and is used only to choose how ads work (see below). Anyone who could still be 12 is treated as under 13.
Ads
The game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and no other ad network. All ads are limited to a G content rating. There are three kinds:
- Reward videos are always your choice: you tap a button marked AD to continue after a loss (once per level), double the coins on the win card, get one free upgrade per visit to the upgrade screen, start a level with a rainbow or another boost, or double the daily reward. The reward is given only when Google reports that the video was watched.
- Break ads (full-screen) appear only after a level you won, from level 6, at most one every 3 minutes and never in the first minute of a session. Never during play and never after a loss.
- One small banner sits at the bottom of the screen only on the home screen, the Candy Road level map, the shop and pass sheets, and the win, lose and upgrade cards. It is never shown during play, on the pause card and the new-enemy intro before a level, on the age screen and the parental gate, and while a video ad is open. The game keeps clear space around it so it is hard to tap by accident.
The No ads purchase removes break ads and the banner (the Starter Pack removes them for 3 days). Reward videos stay available, and always optional.
Players under 13: every ad request is marked as directed to children and under the age of consent, and asks for non-personalised ads only. No consent form is shown, and the advertising ID is not used to build a profile or personalise ads.
Players 13 and over: Google may use your device's advertising ID, your IP address (to estimate a country or region), ad views and taps, and basic diagnostics to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), Google's consent form (UMP) asks for your choice before ads load, and you can change it any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices.
Google's own policies: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Purchases
Optional in-app purchases (coins, gems, skins, the Starter Pack, the Gummy Pass and No ads) are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment details; we only receive a confirmation that lets the game unlock what you bought. Purchases can be restored with Settings → Restore purchases. Random rewards such as the free box can never be bought with real money. You can turn off purchases in your Google Play settings.
Data we share
| Data | Who receives it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID (players 13 and over) | Google AdMob | Ads, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Approximate location from the IP address | Google AdMob | Ads, fraud prevention |
| Ad views and taps, crash and diagnostic data of the ad SDK | Google AdMob | Ads, ad measurement |
| Purchase records | Google Play | Processing and restoring purchases |
All of this is sent encrypted (HTTPS). We do not sell personal data and we do not receive any of it ourselves.
Children
The game is made for a mixed audience under Google Play's Families policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Every purchase, the link to this policy and Delete my data first ask a grown-up question (a multiplication sum), for every player. If you believe a child's information was collected, write to us and we will help remove it.
Permissions
Internet and network state (for ads and purchases; the game itself plays offline), vibration, and the advertising ID permission added by the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Nothing else.
Your choices
- Delete all game data in the game (Settings → Delete my data) or by uninstalling the app.
- Change ad consent in Settings → Ad privacy choices (players 13 and over, where the law requires it).
- Reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings.
Changes
If the game starts using data in a new way, we update this page and the date at the top before that version is released.
